Beautiful baby-early Red Russian Kale Heirloom. Young, smooth, tender-leaved, and very tasty. From what I have read, this variety (originally from Siberia) was brought to Canada in 1885 by Russian traders. I think it is beautiful with its purple veins and I love it cooked or raw.
